Founded in 1951, Chongqing University of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Daxue (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Chongqing. Officially recognized by the Chongqing Municipality Education Commission, Chongqing University of Science and Technology (CQUST) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Chongqing University of Science and Technology (CQUST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
