Established in 1917, Chulalongkorn University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Bangkok (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Chulalongkorn University (CU) is a very large coeducational Thai higher education institution. Chulalongkorn University (CU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 105 years old Thai higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
