Established in 1951, Chungbuk National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Cheongju (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Chungcheong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Chungbuk National University is a large coeducational South Korean higher education institution.
