Founded in 1984, City University of Malaysia is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the large city of Petaling Jaya (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Selangor. This institution also has a branch campus in Johor Bahru. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia), City University of Malaysia (CityU) is a coeducational Malaysian higher education institution. City University of Malaysia (CityU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. CityU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, as well as administrative services.
