Founded in 1985, Corporacion Universitaria del Meta (University Corporation of Meta) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large city of Villavicencio (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Meta. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Colombia (Ministry of National Education of Colombia), Corporacion Universitaria del Meta (UNIMETA) is a coeducational Colombian higher education institution. Corporacion Universitaria del Meta (UNIMETA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UNIMETA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
