Established in 1950, Daegu National University of Education is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Daegu (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Daegu National University of Education (DNUE) is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Daegu National University of Education (DNUE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 72 years old South Korean higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
