Founded in 1956, Daegu University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Gyeongsan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Gyeongsang. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Daegu University (DU) is a large coeducational South Korean higher education institution.
