Established in 1993, Dagon University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of North Dagon (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yangon. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education (Science and Technology) of Myanmar, Dagon University is a very large coeducational Burmese higher education institution. Dagon University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Dagon University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
