Established in 2007, Debre Berhan University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Debre Berhan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Amhara Region. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia, Debre Berhan University (DBU) is a coeducational Ethiopian higher education institution. Debre Berhan University (DBU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. DBU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
