Founded in 2010, Dewey International University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Battambang (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, Dewey International University (DIU) is a coeducational Cambodian higher education institution. Dewey International University (DIU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. DIU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
