Established in 1952, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Dalian (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Liaoning. Officially recognized by the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
