Established in 1996, East West University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Dhaka (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, East West University (EWU) is a medium-sized coeducational Bangladeshi higher education institution.
