Established in 2003, Eritrea Institute of Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium town of Mai Nefhi (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Maekel. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Eritrea, Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT) is a small coeducational Eritrean higher education institution. Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. EIT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
