Established in 1969, Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo (School of Technology of Chimborazo, Riobamba) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Riobamba (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Chimborazo. Officially recognized by the Consejo de Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior del Ecuador (Council for Quality Assurance of Higher Education of Ecuador), Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) is a coeducational Ecuadorian higher education institution. Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ESPOCH also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
