Founded in 1930, Farg'ona Davlat Universiteti (Ferghana State University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Fergana (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Farg'ona Davlat Universiteti (FarDU) is a medium-sized coeducational Uzbekistani higher education institution. Farg'ona Davlat Universiteti (FarDU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. FarDU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
