Founded in 1998, Fatoni University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Yala (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Fatoni University (FTU) is a coeducational Thai higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Fatoni University (FTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. FTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
