Founded in 1950, Fuji Women's University is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Sapporo (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Hokkaido. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Fuji Women's University is a women only Japanese higher education institution. Fuji Women's University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. Fuji Women's University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
