Founded in 2009, Godfrey Okoye University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Ugwuomu-Nike (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Enugu. This institution also has a branch campus in Enugu. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, Godfrey Okoye University (GO Uni) is a small coeducational Nigerian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.
