Founded in 1984, Goris State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Goris (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Syunik. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Goris State University (GSU) is a small coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Goris State University (GSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. GSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
