Established in 2012, Gwanda State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Filabusi (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Matabeleland South. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education of Zimbabwe, Gwanda State University (GSU) is a coeducational Zimbabwean higher education institution. Gwanda State University (GSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. GSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including as well as administrative services.
