Established in 1993, Gwangju National University of Education is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Gwangju (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Gwangju National University of Education is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Gwangju National University of Education offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Gwangju National University of Education also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
