Founded in 1998, Haliç Üniversitesi (Haliç University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Haliç Üniversitesi is a medium-sized coeducational Turkish higher education institution.
