Established in 1986, Hamadan University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Hamedan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hamadan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Hamadan University of Medical Sciences is a very small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Hamadan University of Medical Sciences offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 36 years old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
