Founded in 1902, Hebei Normal University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Shijiazhuang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Hebei. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Hebei Province, Hebei Normal University (HNU) is a very large coeducational Chinese higher education institution.
