Founded in 2007, HITEC University is a private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Taxila (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Punjab. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, HITEC University (HITEC) is a very small coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. HITEC University (HITEC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. HITEC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
