Founded in 1957, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Southeast Region. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) is a coeducational Vietnamese higher education institution. Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 65 years old Vietnamese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. HCMUE also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
