Established in 1996, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Southeast Region. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is a coeducational Vietnamese higher education institution. Ho Chi Minh City University of Law offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Ho Chi Minh City University of Law also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
