Founded in 1991, Hochschule Harz (Harz University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of Wernigerode (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Saxony-Anhalt. This institution also has a branch campus in Halberstadt. Officially recognized by the Kultusministerium des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt (Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Land of Sachsen-Anhalt), Hochschule Harz (HSH) is a small coeducational German higher education institution.
