Founded in 1908, Hochschule Wismar (University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Wismar (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Officially recognized by the Ministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Ministry of Education, Science and Cultural Affairs of Mecklenburg-West), Hochschule Wismar (HS Wismar) is a small coeducational German higher education institution.
