Founded in 1989, Hogeschool Saxion (Saxion University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Enschede (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Overijssel. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Driebergen, Deventer, Apeldoorn, Utrecht, Vlissingen, Zwolle, Venlo, Rotterdam, Osnabrück, Münster, Heerlen, Hengelo, Eindhoven.
