Founded in 1983, Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Bandar-Abbas (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hormozgan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (HUMS) is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (HUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. HUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
