Founded in 1977, Howon University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Gunsan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North Jeolla. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Howon University is a medium-sized coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Howon University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
