Founded in 1985, Hunan Women's University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Changsha (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Hunan. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Hunan Province, Hunan Women's University (HWU) is a medium-sized women only Chinese higher education institution. Hunan Women's University (HWU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
