Established in 2014, Ibanda University is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Ibanda (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Western Region. Officially recognized by the The National Council for Higher Education of Uganda, Ibanda University (IU) is a coeducational Ugandan higher education institution. Ibanda University (IU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. IU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
