Founded in 1957, Inner Mongolia University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Hohhot (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Inner Mongolia. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia University (IMU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Inner Mongolia University (IMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
