Established in 1989, Institut Catholique de Yaoundé (Catholic Institute of Yaounde) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Yaoundé (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Centre Region. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Cameroun (Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon), Institut Catholique de Yaoundé (ICY) is a very small coeducational Cameroonian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Institut Catholique de Yaoundé (ICY) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ICY also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
