Established in 1953, Institute of Railways is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Ulaanbaatar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation, Institute of Railways is a very small coeducational Mongolian higher education institution. Institute of Railways offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Institute of Railways also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
