Established in 1965, Instituto de Ciencia Animal (Institute of Animal Science) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of San José de las Lajas (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Mayabeque. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba), Instituto de Ciencia Animal (ICA) is a coeducational Cuban higher education institution. Instituto de Ciencia Animal (ICA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
