Established in 1981, Instituto Superior de Tecnologías y Ciencias Aplicadas (The Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Havana (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), La Habana. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba), Instituto Superior de Tecnologías y Ciencias Aplicadas (InSTEC) is a very small coeducational Cuban higher education institution. Instituto Superior de Tecnologías y Ciencias Aplicadas (InSTEC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. InSTEC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
