Founded in 1982, Instituto Tecnológico de La Zona Olmeca (Technological Institute of the Olmec Region) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Ocuiltzapotlan (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Tabasco. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Instituto Tecnológico de La Zona Olmeca (TecNM La Zona Olmeca) is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution. Instituto Tecnológico de La Zona Olmeca (TecNM La Zona Olmeca) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
