Established in 1976, Instituto Tecnológico de Pinotepa (Technological Institute of Pinotepa) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small town of San José Estancia Grande (population range of under 2,500 inhabitants), Oaxaca. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Instituto Tecnológico de Pinotepa (TecNM Pinotepa) is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution.
