Founded in 1997, Instituto Tecnológico de Agua Prieta (Technological Institute of Agua Prieta) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Agua Prieta (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Sonora. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Instituto Tecnológico de Agua Prieta (TecNM Agua Prieta) is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution. Instituto Tecnológico de Agua Prieta (TecNM Agua Prieta) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
