Founded in 1984, Instituto Tecnológico de Comitán (Technological Institute of Comitán) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Comitán (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Chiapas. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Instituto Tecnológico de Comitán (TecNM Comitán) is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution.
