Founded in 2013, Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (Higher Community Technical Institute) is a higher-education institution located in the large city of Santo Domingo Este (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Santo Domingo. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología, República Dominicana (Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Dominican Republic), Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (ITSC) is a small coeducational Dominican higher education institution. Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (ITSC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ITSC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
