Established in 1962, Islamic Azad University, Behshahr is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Behshahr (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Mazandaran. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Islamic Azad University, Behshahr is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
