Founded in 1983, Islamic Azad University of Roudehen is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Roodehen (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Tehran. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Islamic Azad University of Roudehen (RIAU) is a large coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
