Established in 1985, Islamic Azad University, Qom is a higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Qom (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Islamic Azad University, Qom (IAU Qom) is a large coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Islamic Azad University, Qom (IAU Qom) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 37 years old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
