Founded in 1984, Islamic Azad University-Sarab Branch is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the small city of Sarab (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East Azerbaijan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Islamic Azad University-Sarab Branch is a small coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
