Founded in 1985, Islamic Azad University, Science and Research of Fars is a private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the metropolis of Shiraz (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Fars. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Islamic Azad University, Science and Research of Fars (SRBIAU) is a large coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
