Founded in 1997, Islamic Institute of Tajikistan is a higher-education institution located in the large city of Dushanbe (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Islamic Institute of Tajikistan (IIT) is a very small coeducational Tajikistani higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Islamic Institute of Tajikistan (IIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. IIT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
